Citizens Bank of Shelbyville opened its doors in 1888.  The Bank merged with Bank of Simpsonville in 1970 and took on the new name, Citizens Union Bank.  Today CUB’s branch offices are located throughout seven counties of Kentucky, which include Shelby, Spencer, Bullitt, Jefferson, Oldham, Larue, Logan, and Hardin Counties.
