2020 HSA Contribution Limits
2020 offers individuals and families additional opportunities to save for current and future health care with a Health Savings Account (HSA):
- HSA holders can choose to save up to $3,550 for an individual and $7,100 for a family (HSA holders 55 and older get to save an extra $1,000) – and these contributions are 100% tax deductible from gross income.
- Minimum annual deductibles are $1,400 for self-only coverage or $2,800 for family coverage.
- Annual out-of-pocket expenses (deductibles, copayments, and other amounts, but not premiums) cannot exceed $6,900 for self-only coverage and $13,800 for family coverage.

$1.00 daily minimum balance required to obtain Annual Percentage Yield. If daily balance falls below $1,000 any day of the month there is a $3.00 minimum balance monthly fee. Fees may reduce earnings on the account.
Mailed Paper Statement Fee $2.50 per month if average monthly balance falls below $2,500.00. Mailed Paper Statement fee is waived upon request for account owners 65 years of age or older.
